Christmas In July!

Manic Monday!

Well let's back up a few days to Friday, the 15th. That is the day Robb was born 14 short years ago. Now, as much as I talk about him and how much of a bother he is to me, I am the one that wanted him to be a boy....The only reason I wanted a boy was for my dad. I wanted my daddy to have someone to taking fishing or something like that...A five year old is kind of not smart (that's how old I was when Robb was born!) So Friday, I pick Robb from Prep Session and we go have a little lunch and hang out with Sara. He gets on my nerve every second of every day, but I love him none the less. My mom gets so mad at me for everything I say about him, even though I am just joking and kidding around and being a big sister. I harass  him like any sister would do and I am the one to get yelled at, "Kate, stop that!" ugh! So annoying!!

Saturday we had Poppy and I was going to try to get over to my cousin Brent's house to help him set up for his awesome Slip-N-Slide party, but unfortunately I was not able to help :(

Sunday I got up for church and Sunday school-which my dad likes to call "Story time with Fr. Dow" which is amazing! We stopped for lunch at Taco Bell then headed home to take an amazing nap! Brent and my aunt & uncle came for dinner. Have you ever video taped your family eating christmas dinner? We have and we watched it last night! Our family is so funny! I haven't figured out yet why MTV isn't knocking down our door to film us!!

As for today, it's just been a lot of running around doing chores for my mother and sister...my life.
Robb's got city meet tonight (swimming stuff). GO ROBB! GO DOLPHINS!

I'm not WINNING!

Thirsty Thursday!

I spent this wonderful day with my older sister, Sara and my younger brother, Robb and of course Miss Poppy! Sara and I started our day off with a little Starbucks (yummmy!!) then headed off to Bishop England to pick up Robb from prep session. While at BE, we all went inside to see uncle Robb's locker..Poppy wanted to sit in it for some odd reason..

Then we all headed off to the North area to pick some things up...there was a really nasty storm today (blah!) While in the North area, we drove around Coosaw Creek, and my oh my, what a beautiful neighborhood! I had forgotten where I was! The houses there were so big, it was amazing to just dream of a life like that....Here is a picture we all thought was appropriate for tonight, seeing as it's the midnight showing of the final Harry Potter...take a look at this Hogwarts house right here in Charleston!

I alway LOVE hanging out with my siblings, they mean the WORLD to me and they get me through EVERYTHING! (they also sometimes put me through everything, but I love them none the less!)

I won't talk about how nobody stands up for me when people make fun of me, because I'm sure my mother will say something about it....and since my parents have posted this entire thing on the interwebs so everyone and their brother can see...RUDE!
Well I think that is about it for today...I heard from Ian for about three seconds...he's too busy with all the pretty French girls...oh well! (I'm busy too....jk!)

Breathe!

Yesterday was a nightmare! It started out well. I went over to my sisters to get my adorable niece, Poppy, then we drove around for awhile waiting to pick up my little brother, Robb, from Prep Session. We all got lunch and then went home. Now, I am taking an online English summer course at Trident Tech, and yesterday I had a paper due. Yes, Yes, I know never wait until the last minute, but hey things have been crazy lately! While having Poppy is a joy and I wouldn't trade it for anything in the world, it's a little hard to get work done with an unhappy baby around. I thought that my mother would get off work early to relieve me for a couple hours, but no. Mom came in the house almost two hours after I called her. I was very mad at first, but I've gotten over it and I love her very much. (She reads my blog and I would love to continue to live in her house...)
Not to mention, Ian left for France yesterday and I hardly got to speak to him. :(
I still haven't heard from him today, except for things on facebook about his credit card and such not working...

As for today, I have absolutely nothing to do.  The Social Network came in today from Netflix, so that is what I will be doing shortly...Hope it's good!!

CINDERELLA!!

Hello! So my sister has a blog and she wanted me to start blogging, but about what? So I thought long and hard about this blog, and within the past couple of weeks the topic of this blog came to me, and here we are. The blog is about my thoughts and my life as Cinderella. Now, my name is not Cinderella of course, but it often feels like it. I love my family so much, and I know deep deep down they love me (just kidding. kinda). In the family I am the middle child, that happens to have red hair and feels used at times. I'm sure my mother will take this the wrong way, and I'll hear about it later, but this is my blog and my thoughts!

So to start this blog off I thought I'd talk a little about what's going on in my life right now.... Well, my boyfriend Ian (of too many months) has been away in Washington State for about a month doing Army training. Recently he got his phone back and started texting and calling me, which has been great! He is finished today and flies back 10:30 pm Washington time (1:30 am our time!-So I hope he doesn't call me!). Ian will fly into Miami and then hours later fly to France for another month. :( Oh well, things happen...
